Checking Out of Wild Lodge

Check-Out Checklist

Before you head off on your next adventure, please take a few moments to go through this list. It helps us keep Wild Lodge in perfect condition for our next guests.

Optional Cleaning Service: Final cleaning can be purchased from your hosts for 750 SEK / €75 (does not include washing dishes or disposing of trash). If you would like us to handle the cleaning, please let us know at least one day in advance.

• Kitchen & Dishes: Wash and dry all used items and return them to their cabinets. Empty the coffee carafe, discard used filters, and empty the kettle of water.
• Refrigerator: Wipe shelves if needed. You are welcome to leave fresh food (in the fridge) or dry goods (on the counter) that you don't wish to take with you.
• Trash & Recycling: Empty all trash (including the bathroom bin) and bring it to the outdoor garbage bins. PET bottles and cans can be left in sealed bags on the hallway bench.
• Grill: If used, please empty the ashes and wash the utensils. The next griller (and the local birds!) will thank you.
• Floors & Surfaces: Wipe down counters and tables (including the patio). Please vacuum all floors, carpets, and the sofa. Wipe away any accidental stains.
• Bedding: Fold and return any extra blankets or protectors to their original places.
• Bathroom: A quick wipe of the sink and toilet goes a long way in keeping the lodge fresh.
• Climate & Lights: Turn off all indoor lights and the TV. Please set the air conditioning to 21°C. Do not turn it off, as it is the primary heat source for the house.
• Windows & Doors: Securely close and lock all windows and doors. Swedish nature is beautiful, but it prefers to stay outside!
• Issues or Accidents: If anything was broken or needs attention, please let us know. We truly appreciate honesty more than surprises.
• Check-out Message: Once you’ve locked up and started your journey, please send us a quick message to let us know you've checked out!

Sheets, Towels & Extra Services

If you have rented sheets or towels, please remove them from the beds and place them on the bench by the entrance.

• Booking.com guests: Please leave the cash payment on the kitchen counter.
• Airbnb guests: Leave the cash payment on the counter or let us know via the app so we can send a payment request.
